Christmas 2011

Well since I now have nothing to do but wait for Micah to be born I thought I would finish posting our Christmas pics :) We had a wonderful Christmas! Friday we spent time with Peter, Sharon, and the kids. Since I was not really into baking or cooking and neither was Sharon (I think it was something to do with being 8 months pregnant and having a 5 month old :) we ordered pizza, wings, cupcakes, frozen pies and chips :) It was awesome - maybe we should start a new tradition :)

Saturday started out with opening presents at our house (since Sunday was Christmas we had Christmas on Sat.), then breakfast at Orcutt Burgers with Brock's family! Yum! Then over to his parents house for presents, Turkey dinner, singing and a devotion from Papa!

It was nice to just get ready for church Christmas morning and not be distracted by all of the other things. I'm so thankful we attend a church that didn't put anything before the Lord on Christmas - we had all of our normal services! It was so sad to see so many churches close their doors on a day we are celebrating Jesus birth???? weird!
